About us

An integrated centre of diini education, research and practical work

Introduction to the Markaz

'Markazud Deen Liddirasati Wal Buhusil Islamiya' is no conventional educational institution; rather, it is an intellectual, knowledge-centred, research-based, work-oriented and integrated centre of diini education. Nor is it merely an education centre; it is a trusted centre for building sound leadership, capable human resources and practical work plans for establishing complete deen in the light of the revealed knowledge (ilm-e-wahi) and the Prophet's way (seerat-e-nabawi).

The aim of the Markaz

Our aim is to imbibe the pursuit of knowledge beyond the four walls of the classroom — in the light of divine revelation, the Prophet's seerah and the companions' way — enabling complete practice of deen in one's personal life, and gradually uniting every necessary element for its undistorted propagation and establishment in the family, society and the state into one integrated centre.

Characteristics of the Markaz

The characteristic of the Markaz is that — whether it goes for or against the interest of any individual, group or institution — sharee'ah is given the highest priority at all times, and deen is conveyed to people exactly as described in the authentic sources, without any distortion or alteration. In this, the Markaz follows three core principles:

Accuracy

Presenting deen accurately and completely avoiding wrong information, out-of-context statements or misleading presentations.

Completeness

Presenting any matter of deen not partially or in fragments, but in full — with the relevant conditions, limits and context.

Undistortedness

Explaining deen in the light of the Quran, the Sunnah and the usul, and refraining from personal inclinations and self-made interpretation.

Objectives of the Markaz

  • Seeking the pleasure of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala alone in all speech and deeds
  • Following the Sunnah and the noble example of Allah's Messenger ﷺ in every sphere of life
  • Adopting the working methodology of the Companions and the pious predecessors in all deeds
  • Eliminating all kinds of jahiliyyah and uprooting taghuti ideals
  • Building an integrated centre of talim, tarbiyah, tazkiyah, tasnif and dawah
  • Developing capable human resources for establishing pure, undistorted and complete deen

Principles and values of the Markaz

Honesty

Maintaining transparency, truthfulness and trustworthiness in all institutional activities.

Justice

Ensuring strict justice, balance and impartiality in decision-making.

Courage

Carrying out deen work with resolve, and never compromising under any pressure.

Patience

Showing patience amid obstacles and adversity on the path of deen, and standing firm and steady without breaking.

Sacrifice

Devoting oneself to the service of deen through the highest sacrifice of time, labour and talent.

Steadfastness

Not changing one's principled stand in the face of any situation or challenge.

Future plans

The Markaz is working toward establishing a full-fledged Islamic research centre, an education complex with modern facilities, a Muslim community zone and a dawah centre. Among our plans for the coming ten years, a few notable ones are—

Permanent campus

Creating a noise-free, study-friendly environment on owned land near Dhaka (e.g. Diabari, Birulia, Purbachal, Savar or Keraniganj, or adjacent areas).

Housing

Building quality residential quarters or dormitories to keep teachers and staff worry-free, to boost their work capacity, and to ensure their round-the-clock presence on campus.

Multilingual Islamic library

Forming a digital and physical library with classical manuscripts, modern research papers and various books in Arabic, Bengali, English, Urdu and Persian.

Higher departments (Takhasus)

Launching higher Hadith, Tafsir, Adab (Arabic language and literature), and Dawah & Media departments, and collecting books worth several crore taka for them.

Shariah-based modern school

Making the new generation proficient in modern science, mathematics and technology, alongside teaching diini knowledge, adab and Islamic values from childhood.

Media & dawah department

Building a strong IT and media cell, and spreading the correct message of deen across the world through podcasts, videos, articles and social media.

Our commitment

We aim to raise a principled, knowledgeable and modern generation who will play a leading role in restoring the lost glory of the Muslim ummah through the union of knowledge and action. Our work plan is not merely a written document; it is a long-term and firm commitment to building a sharee'ah-compliant, justice-based and knowledge-driven society. With full tawakkul upon Almighty Allah, we are committed to continuing this journey.
